Excerpts from the BY-LAWS
Statement of Purpose
In order to foster a sense of historic place
and duty; to promote communication between persons of similar
interest, rank, and position; to study and publish historical and
other works relative to the nobles and Celtic peoples of Scotland,
Ireland, and elsewhere; to provide both a forum and gathering place
for those persons currently holding noble Celtic titles and others of
similar mind and interest; to establish a resource for materials on
the subject; and to honour the traditions of the Celtic Nobiliary, We
do Hereby Establish -
The Noble Society of Celts.
Jurisdiction
The jurisdiction of this organization shall be
North American Continent, however members are invited from anywhere
in the world.
Administration
The Society shall be administered by an
Executive Committee made up of the following officers:
Terms of Office
Officers serve at the Pleasure of the Honorary
Chieftain. Vacancies in offices are filled from nominations
solicited from the membership and elected by the Executive Committee.
Election to office must include the affirmative vote of the
Honorary Chieftain.

Noble Advisors
The Executive Committee shall solicit guidance
from the Noble Advisors, a board of not more than five persons of the
highest position and standing on matters of the Celtic Nobility.
Such persons shall have the responsibility of reviewing
extraordinary policies and making recommendations of same to the
Executive Committee.
Patrons
The Society may select persons of great Celtic
importance to the position of Patron. There shall be no more
than three patrons, who shall serve for life or until resignation.
Dues and Fees
The Executive Committee shall form time to time
set such dues and fees as shall be necessary for the operation of the
Society. Dues may be waived for the following:

- Patrons and Noble Advisors
- Honorary Members
- Such persons, already a member, who shall
apply for hardship waiver.
